    67 BB Radiator Overflow Hose

My replacement shroud did not have the holes for the straps that hold the overflow hose to the shroud. I need the location of these holes and the orientation of the straps. A picture would also be helpful.

This is a 400 HP air car.

    Thanks

The top hole is 3/4" down and 3/4" in to center. The bottom hole is 8-1/2" down to 3/4" in to center. The hole size is a "tight" 1/4" - maybe 15/64's.

Thanks Doug. Just what I needed!. It looks like you have an unrestored original car - from what I can see from the photos. Mine is as well. I did have to replace the radiator and discovered that when the radiator was pulled to be repaired in the 70's they screwed up the shroud big time. So I replaced the shroud and radiator at the same time.

My question is if your shroud is original do you think it was painted? There seems to be a lot of conjecture about this. I left my unpainted just like the one I pulled out. I don't understand why they would waste time & money painting a component in the engine compartment that looks great as unpainted fiberglass when the didn't even bother putting paint on unseen areas of the exterior body.

      Thanks for the help.
