Yesterday was a bear...today seems back to normal. Has anyone questioned North Korea on this?? Deep in the heart of Texas.

About a week ago, I was on this site and all of a sudden it just dumped on me for no reason. I sent a trouble ticket to Gary and he said everything checked out OK to him. I still couldn't get on any of the forums here.

So I discussed this problem with my wife and my Son, (who is a genuine Rocket Scientist) and he suggested switching from Firefox to Internet Explorer and now it works. Seems like the problem is on your end.

Now it looks like that this Tech board is NOT compatible with Firefox. Can this be fixed?

You might consider Google Chrome...far superior to Internet Explorer.

I am using Firefox 33.1 on my Mac now. Once the problems were fixed,all is good.

Was still slow around noon today, but seems OK now. My short attention span wouldn't allow me to find out how long it would take to load, so I will just say I have been unable to log on since yesterday. Let me take this opportunity to thank all the folks that keep this forum up and going. I really do appreciate the dedication and hard work that goes into maintaining this site. Chip.

Same type problems here in Central Florida. Thought it was my iPad, then noticed the same but better with my MacBook Pro. And I use Google Chrome with my iPad because that's the only way I can get on. On my regular Apple Safari system with the iPad, the system says I don't exist and did not recognize my name, member number, or my password. If perhaps things have been resolved I'll try again.

Off line past 2 days but this afternoon back to what it was. Using Firefox on Charter in DFW. Someone must have fixed something???

Same problems the last 2 days as everyone else. Just logged on after being off 4 hours and site is back to normal operation for my computer in the southwest suburban Chicago area.

Was slow yesterday and early this morning on both iMac and iPad. Working fine now. (Kansas)

Earlier, some attempts gave a server could not be found message, although most times it eventually came up. This was using Safari - I did not try Chrome. A couple of times I got the tech board to load by FIRST going to the HOME page, then linking over to the tech board. Normally, I just go to the tech board right off.

FWIW: The home page will not identify me (blank display in name box), but when I go to the tech board it correctly identifies me as logged on. Tech board identifies me as logged on if I go directly there from my browser favorites, or if I go to the tech board via the drop down link on the home page (even though on the home page I am not identified as logged on). NOT A PROBLEM - just seems strange.

I have agree with Don Hooper [Southern California], exceptionally slow yesterday and today, not to mention requiring new log-in fifty per cent of the time also.

I just wanted to know what fixed the problem? Was it power related? or Servers?
