1967 telescoping column lower cover

Can't find a cover for the expanded metal at the bottom of the telegraphing steering column. I was told that they are unavailable. Is there a good substitute that can be used to cover the lower column?

There is one on ebay now $50, of coarse it is mine.

Actually telescoping plastic cover.

Just had to try to get it right this time and read my post before hitting the button. This IPad tries to out think my words.
Saw Keith's post about the cover, but if I don't get it is there a substitute someone found that will cover the mesh on the telescoping column for a 1967 till I find one?

MOPARS used a similar cover in the era..... Look in the junk yards.

same part for standard or telescopic, also 68 too.

Yup, got one from Keith several years ago for a non-tele column, same piece. Perfect.
