63 SWC Questions

1. Ref. rear window weatherstrip......Is there a difference between left & right rubber on the split windows?

2. Ref. off-road exhaust.... Is 63-67 the same configuration ? Any differences between model years?

Ralph, I installed the one piece rear sections N-11 corvette central exhaust system on my 63 the differences is weather your 63 has the deep tool box depressions on the floor. Sometime around 11000 ser. number the deeper depressions disappeared. sorry cannot help on the weatherstripping . I would say to go corvette rubber web site and see if they list them left and right as different no.s

there are a left and right because of the top and bottom size difference of the windows.

Here is the sound of the CC N-11 mufflers on my car with 340 hp engine. Sounds can vary with engine and cam set up.

IMO they are pretty tame.

The 63 exhaust is also different at the union of the front and rear pipes. For 63, the rears insert into the fronts. 64-67 the fronts insert into the rears. The change was made because the 63 configuration was more prone to leak at the union. That said, you cannot match 63 fronts with 64-7 rears or vice versa.
