Did the first A6 compressors use different stamped #s instead of the MM/DD/Y & shift.
I was sent a # 92NC1178 with a backplate A224, Jan 22,1963? Could that 92NC1178 be off the welded tags on the early compressors?
The question that I was asked was what # go's on a compressor FOIL STICKER with a compressor backplate code of
I243 Sept 24, 1963? Did they use a MM/DD/Y & shift that was about a week or so later on the foil stickers like the later compressors?
Something like 102331= Oct 23 1963 shift 1? Of coarse making sure the dates were not weekends, holidays, or during a strike!
I would like to help this person find the correct # for their sticker.
