    Bill;

    Have checked the tents and exhibit hall for catalogued cars and have not yet located the car. We found lot numbers to either side of this one, but it is no where to be found. If you watch the broadcast on Friday and see it go through, re-post the results (sale/no-sale) and we can try again on Saturday. Today we also checked out the "bid goes on" lot, and there are many nice cars that the bids were very low. Hard to figure some times.

        Bill;

        Finally ran into the car (virtually) on our way out in the pre-stage lot. It is #21,888. We were looking at another car there, turned around, and there it was. I don't know where they were keeping it during these last few days. It looks real good. Should sell well.

            Bill;

            FWIW, I saw the TV broadcast today and the 65 in question was the last car sold before the end of the broadcast (5 pm EST). It came immediately after the entire TIM somebody's collection. That large block of numbers explains the big gap in lot numbers that I could not locate. The car went for $110,000, even though it was listed as expecting to go between $115,000 to $135,000. They lifted their reserve at only $105,000 and, I believe, left some money on the table as the bidding was going strong after the collection cars sold.

                  Sounds like it was a great car . I hope the new owner takes it to some NCRS shows so other people can enjoy it .
