correct location for wheel weights on a 1991...

I previously posted a question for the correct type of wheel weights used on a 1991 and got the answer. I just did an archive search on the correct location of said wheel weights and found nothing. my question is...should the wheel weights be installed on the outer side of the rim or the inner side of the rim like older corvettes do? thanks in advance.

Patrick, that's my old post that only says what kind of weights to use. I did, however, see the post that shows pics of the location on a 95. I will just go with that and see what the judges say. thanks.

The auto tech that balances the tires will put the weights on the wheel. You just must make sure they use the correct type of weight.

I believe the weights were installed on both sides of the rim. However, I can tell you, for sure, that some were installed on the outside of the rim.

I have had my 1995 C4 judged up to a Hill Award and the placement of wheel weights has never been an issue. In fact, the wheel weights themselves has never been deducted and I have on some occasions used the adhesive weights placed on the inside of the wheel. Just my real life experience.
