LT4 Optispark Vacuum Harness Mystery Clip

My LT4 had a severed hose in the distributor vacuum harness when I bought it. I got an original harness from CorvetteNutz but it included a clip was not present in my orginal damaged harness. In diagrams, it appears to be part number 4614452. Can someone tell me if this clip is used on Corvette LT1/LT4's and if so, where this clip should be located?

FYI, the harness it itself (12556174) is used on other applications of the LT1 engine such as the Camaro and I don't know where the harness came from.

    Thanx

I am pretty sure that is the same harness used on Captice/Roadmaster/Fleetwood. I have a fleet of Caprices (Caprici ?) and have not seen that clip.

Floyd-- Here is a picture of an LT4 engine at the Museum. You can clearly see the clip holds the vacuum line on the bracket just above the water pump. The balancer is painted black.

The picture would not upload to this reply........... PM me for the picture.

Based on Jake's description I think I found this clip on my LT4. It's a little difficult to see but it's sorta upper-center of this pic:

          Thanx Pat,
Once I saw the pic from Jake and knew where to look, I could see evidence of the orginal clip's presence once upon a time.
