60 differential

I removed the differential out of my 60 and would like to send it out for inspection and/or rebuild if needed. It is a late 60 positraction unit. Could anyone with experience and/or knowledge recommend a good person or shop to send it to. Thanks, Terry

Hi Terry, Joe
While the procedures are similar with C1's, I only work on the 63-79 differentials. Tom Parsons would be the guy for the C1's, not sure if here is still on here or not.

Any reputable trans/diff shop in your area can look after it. They're not any more complicated or difficult than any other diff. PM me if you're in western Canada and can't find anyone local.

Terry,

You might want to give John at Gevos gears a call. He is in Ny. I just had him build up a posi unit for my 58. He does nice work and was recommended to me by a local C1 restorer.
