Transport to National in Denver from So. CAl.

I am looking to have my 65 car transported to the Denver National. No way my back is going to take a 1017 mile drive. I am currently getting pricing from some of the major guys (Reliable etc.). Just wanted to throw it out there if any one wants to combine for transport or has other ideas.

Gary Straight, 'Straight Roads' auto transport, is an excellent, small business owner/operator. He lives on front range in northern CO, so Denver should be a favorable destination. Moves lots of high-end, 'Pebble Beach' type show & auction vehicles & has a superb rig. I have used Gary's service & would absolutely do so again. http://www.straightroads.com/

      John,
i have put together several trailer loads of cars for a number of National Conventions. I did it with the folks at Intercity and they worked closely with me to get it done. In all cases it worked very well. I will say it is challenging to arrange for numerous pick up/drop off points but with the cooperation of everyone it can be done. The shipper will give you a trailer load price and the goal is to arrange for up to 7 cars to spread the cost out. Bear in mind that they have 5 days of down time (Sunday thru Thursday). Actually it can be very reasonable if you get things well organized. Feel free to email me if I can assist.

Largest Truck we had held 6 cars ( from Intercity ) One thing if possible we had arranged for all 6 cars to meet at one spot, called for only one stop coming and going - saved on the cost. Good luck

          Ed,
good tip. The cost will vary with the number/location of the pick up/drop off points. I think if you get 2 or 3 C-1's you can fit 7. The boys at Intercity will do a great job.
