I understand that line workers used broadcast codes to select parts during assembly. However, as far as I can tell, broadcast codes are not identified on A.I.M. sheets. A.I.M. sheets do specify different part numbers for standard and optional parts. My tank sticker (build sheet) shows broadcast codes, and I presume that document is what the line workers referenced when assembling the car.
Is (was) there a single GM document that identified all broadcast codes specific to part numbers? It seems like someone would have used a control document when setting up the assembly line.
