Mid year forward lighting harness

Plugging away on the engine compartment on my 67 and received a new ignition harness from Lectric Limited, I've been using the judging manual and the aim to install it correctly , but I can't figure out the mounting of the forward lamp harness, it comes over the left side of the rad support and runs to all the lights ect, but I can't see where the main part of the harness attaches. It has two built in snap in studs, but there is no holes for them anywhere, I would have thought that it ran along the inner support under the nose, or the rad support, just wondered if anyone had a picture or a proper description .

the stuids snap into a pair of holes on the underide of the top surround support , not too far from where the headlite bucket supports fasten to the top surround support bar. the holes were present in a nos top surround support bar i just installed in a 65 i'm competing a resto on. if no holes(repo support bar of filled in by body shop), simply drill a pair. mike

Awesome thanks guys, those pictures helped a lot and answered a couple of other questions I had. The holes are not there , must be an aftermarket support.

Thanks again Jim, any shots of the rest of the harness routing up to and beyond the firewall would be great if you have them, I have searched the archives but the posts with pics are hard to find

Great pics. I know how diligently you have been working on this restoration and wanting everything to be as precise as possible. Just an observation (as noted on page 149 of the 5th edition TIM&JG)...you may want to re-orient the red wire and boot on the back of your alternator. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for keeping me on the path . I don't remember how I came up with that orientation. Although you are probably correct , are we talking about the 66 TIMJG ? Don't want to have to do it a third time .

I was referring to the '67 TIM&JG but the orientation of the red wire is the same for '66.
