    1966 427/425 valve springs

Hello, Can anyone give me replacement part numbers for 3970627 valve springs and 3964264 retainers? I know these are discontinued at Chevrolet, however I thought that someone may have updated numbers or cross reference numbers to an aftermarket supplier. If anyone has a set of 16 of these for sale, please contact me. Thank you so much in advance for any and all help, John

Are these part numbers specific for the high performance 425 hp 427 or do they also apply to the 390 hp 427?

The ...627 dual spring assembly with integral retainer and seal was OE on all Corvette big blocks, except L-88 and ZL-1, beginning around 1969 and through '72, and was the service assembly for the earlier single spring/damper design that had a tendency to break, especially on the higher revving mechanical lifter engines.

The '73-'74 Corvette big blocks went back to a single spring/damper, 353075, but those were lower revving engines.

...data from the 9/77 P&A catalog.
