63 Fuel Tank: paint w/zinc metallic or leave untouched

I'm changing out the gas tank on my 63 coupe with a Quanta Products (OLA stamped) tank. Should I leave it 'as is' when I install it -or- paint it beforehand, with the silver zinc metallic paint sold on some of the corvette parts websites (such as the Eastwood Tank Tone)?

    See: http://www.parts123.com/corvettecent...050b&ukey=1810

    Thanks in advance!

Leave it as is. I can see no reason to paint a brand new tank.

I agree. The originals were never painted, just coated with Ni-Terne, just like the repro tanks these days, as far as I know.
