    Unidentified chrome plated wingnut

Can any one identify the 1/4"-20 chrome plated wing nut attached to a 4" long air cleaner stud in the photo? It measures 1.03" high and 1.25" wide. I suspect it is from a 1950's or 1960's GM model but not a Chevrolet model.

      John,

Are the threads 1/4"-20? Is it chrome plated?
Maybe someone lost their original air cleaner wing nut "back in the day" and found a suitable replacement on their flaring tool.
