The key warning function of the ignition switch on my 68 stopped working. I pulled the key cylinder and can see a loose piece of brass at the bottom. I suspect this is part of the switch that energizes the buzzer when the key is inserted. I checked on new switches and the replacements available do not have the built in light holder as found on the original switch. I'm wondering if it is possible to disassemble the old switch to do a repair? Has anyone attempted this?
