Need some input on a barn find 63

I have come across a 63 conv. which has been off the road for some 26 years. What should I watch out for? It has a 64 engine, as it was stolen in 64 and was recovered and engine was replaced. ( No other damage only engine was removed.) It's a one owner car with 54500 miles. It is in nice original shape. It was stored inside. Any ideas what it's worth? Any help will be appreciated

Bruce, It is very hard to guess with that little information - could be $15 - $45K. If you can post pictures and more info such as: original HP, condition & original or replaced interior and paint, etc we could be more specific. It sounds like a great find, please keep us posted. Good luck, Don H.

Bruce - I see you've been a member for some time and this is your first post, glad to see you getting into the Technical Discussions. That 63 you're considering sounds interesting but as Don pointed out, we're going to need some details in order to come up with some sort of ballpark range regarding value. If you need some help posting pics, I'm sure there are instructions available. By the way, when you do take some pics, do try to get some detailed shots. Good luck.
