Re: First Car Show
Gents: Whom of you are attending the Frisco Lone Star Regional? What down time social events are there (if any). Who exactly are the "Old Guard" who are often referred to in our NCRS Forum - and what are some recommended best practices for not getting on their bad side?I don't want to start off on the wrong foot. Best, Ned

Hey Ned
Relax, and let the game come to you. You will learn just as all the rest of did who's who in the zoo. Some of the old guard are pretty mean looking but none of them will bite. The bar is easy to find and most of us will have our name tags on. Just walk on in and start talking to someone. You're going to have a good time. I'm sure of it.- Top

Look for the giant Q-tip--that will be me--tall, white haired. Also be sure to come to the reception Thursday night at the JCP Club at the RoughRiders Ballpark. You can meet lots of folks and talk cars. I think you will find most folks will be welcoming and helpful. We will be sending out maps and info about two weeks out.

Or you can buy a cover made specifically to keep chrome air cleaner lid from burning paint. Looks better than towel.- Top

If it's a non Corvette "show and shine" be prepared to answer "Is that a split window(when it obviously isn't)?" and " Is that the Corvette they made with a metal body?"- Top
