69 windshield washer

I have been sorting out my very original 69 and have the headlights popping up along with the wiper door. No small feat for me!
However not so lucky with the washers. It's hard to hear with the engine running if the washer motor comes on, but I think so. I have fluid coming up to the wiper motor, but that's it. I have blown out the hoses (original) and they are clear. Does the fluid pass from one side of the wiper motor to the other? I know I should be hearing the pumping rhythm for several seconds If I remember?
On the passenger side of the wiper motor the white plastic attachment seems to be a filter only. The pumping motor is attached to the drivers side? Perhaps that is the trouble?

On my 72 I had to take the white valve portion apart. The seals look like a cloverleaf, and I lubricated the ones that look like valves as well as the round/cloverleaf ones. I used dielectric silicone grease as the lubricant.

Once together, get a mouth full of water, remove the hose from the reservoir, and blow the water through the system. It should come out the squirters even with the pump not running.

I found out my problem was a leak at the reservoir, and a little black weatherstrip cement where the hose attaches to the reservoir fixed the issue. So, don't assume the problem is the pump.
