Faulty Turn Signal Indicator on 66'

This problem has plagued my '66 car (fully restored) for some time now. The left turn signal function is perfect. However, when the right turn signal is activated, all four marker lights flicker quickly at the same time. I have already tried to replace the Tung-Sol unit with a new one - but to no avail. I have currently taken out the Tung Sol unit because the situation just worsened with the unit "clicking", even when there is no turn signal activated. What could be causing this....? Thanks in advance.

    The turn signal switch itself.

      Hey David ,

I knew that car was too perfect and good looking not to have at least something wrong with it !!!

I don't know if it is your turn signal switch or not , but if it is , or if that is one of the things you have to try to replace to find out , Do an advanced search for Gerard Fuccillo (42179) and the words "Turn signal" for everything you ever wanted to know about how to get and replace one !

        Jim -

Jerry's articles deal with the 1967 turn signal switch, which was a brand-new design for '67 - the '64-'66 switch system was different.
