    69 inner fender hole patching

having been blessed by a previous owner or mechanic that didn't like staples or rivets, I have to fill in some holes in the inner fender wells of my 69 L46, before applying blackout etc. most of these holes are 3/16 to 1/4 in size. some will be covered by other parts, like skirting/rubber seals, while others will be out there for all to see. I think I can paint over most of them but a couple will be exposed. What type/color/brand of filler/fiberglass do you suggest using on these to match?

I've had good results repairing my car's inner fenders with old fashioned fiberglass mat and resin.

On small holes I use JB weld. I put tape on both sides to keep it from running.

I have used JB Weld also for small holes and cracks, Put a piece of masking tape on one side and fill on the other side. much quicker and lasts forever. I also used a razor blade as a spreader.

Whether JB Weld or glass and resin, it has to be better than the bathroom caulk I just removed from 4 more holes I found.

            Thanks Guys,
