Brake calipers for early 1967 (aprox ser #800)

Which design, 1st or 2nd would most likely be used for this early a build time period?
Factors that effect a definitive answer are, not knowing what was left over from the '66 production year and the number of these parts over stocked. So, my guess would be #1, All were used up from'66. #2, A combination of cast number 546, 1st design or 545, 2nd design until stock was depleted from '66. Or, lastly, the second design was implemented at the start of production year '67.
But, there is one more answer if someone (expediter) from the factory knew how much overage was factored for these brake calipers. So, tell me which scenario would you use to restore your Corvette for correctness?

    Jim,
I have #1450 (I think) Sept 23,1966 build and I am using 546 calipers, these are not the original calipers but from my research I believe them to be correct. The calipers I took off were from vette brakes and were a mix of castings like what's typical.

Thanks Timothy for your feed back..........
In actuality, I removed the original calipers from the rear both R & L. The way I knew they were the originals was the white & baby blue paint markings. I also looked at the Julian date for conformation too. No question about the originality of them being the 1st design.
