    What is the correct way to store new tires that are not on rims? On Rims?

      I usually have them on rims, and put them upright slightly leaning against a wall, not stacked. Here are some good additional tire storage tips from Tire Rack:

          A cool, dark place as far as possible from any electrical equipment that might create ozone... doesn't matter if you store them upright on the tread or stack them sidewall to sidewall, but don't go more than four high.
