I suppose that means JR's rest stop for the old and decrepit will not be open. You could have arranged for a washtub with ice and beer to be placed at a corner somewhere.

Check with John DeGregory as I have paid him for that service. Drop by his booth on L-90 and he will take care of the old and decrepit. Tell him to put it on my tab! And anybody else can stop by for a refreshment!

Hi Joe,
A report about today…
A surprising number of vendors completely set up and quite a few 'shoppers' in the aisles for Thursday.
The weather was about as good as one could even hope for; sunny and 80 this morning and enough clouds this afternoon to drop the temperature a few degrees!
The swap meet certainly isn't what it was years ago but I can't think of anything I'd rather do than spend a couple of days at the fairgrounds in Carlisle in August.

The last two shots are of Corvette Vagabond Jack Panzica also enjoying his first visit to Carlisle.

Here are some more pics from Friday at Carlisle. This was also my first time. I just live about 3 hours away. The weather was beautiful and there were so many beautiful cars to see. Plenty of vendors and parts for sale. Had a chance to meet a couple of my NCRS friends too. My wife and I walked for over six hours today taking it all in. I tried to get a good photo with all the red, white and blue cars lined up to look like the American Flag. It was a beautiful sight. They even had a row of silver cars on the left edge to simulate the flag pole and the two gold cars pointing in opposite directions at the top of the pole to represent eagles' wings.. (Couldn't get it all in the photo).
PS- I had to add the "Christmas Vette".

They did have a " bucket truck" on sight so I'll bet there are overhead shots of the cars. Maybe they will have them available for purchase, or I'm sure they will probably surface online. I tried to get them all in, I was standing on the highest point across the way and I'm 6'2" and still couldn't get them all in

I have no idea if they are legit, but I saw these at the swap meet area and thought these rims were very cool!
