1965 Fuel Injection "S" Tube bolts

I'd like to verify the original style and headmarks of the 4 bolts that hold the front of the "S" tube to the radiator support. Are 1963 and 1964 the same.?
    Any help is always appreciated.

no and maybe. Sorry Dave could not resist. The 65 screws are not the same as 63, 64 - 65 are the double height head I do not have a picture at my fingertips, the are readily available were also used in the Corvair engine compartment, and 63 64 may be the same but they are not like 65.

      Roy,
      Thanks.
I think that is what I have. They have a small size head.? Like maybe 1/4".? What made me pause was looking at 64 screws. I'll get a photo next week and post it. Thanks. Looking forward to catching up in November.

Don, At first I couldn't tell the logo on your screws. Then with my flat screen tV monitor I see you have the correct "L" logo. Nice.
Dave Cardina also has a Jan 64 FI car (original owner) with the same screws as you Don. I don't know how far into '64 those screws were mentioned. We have covered this before but I forgot.

Dave, Watch out for the high hat screws that don't have a starter end to them. As Roy said you can find a lot of them on Corvairs. John D

Myself and Alan Drake have close 13XXX 64s, both have the 'L' 5/16 screws. Believe Bill Mock had a low mileage 64, 15XXX range, with the 'L' screws. Anyway, the 5/16 screws went far into 64 production.

                  Alan,
The second pic shows the "high hat" screw which I believe is typical of 65.

Dave, they are the same screws that hold up the interior A/C duct work. I have them on my 63 with C60. There is a set on Ebay starting at $9.99

                        Harry,
thanks. I saw those. I have the right configured screws on the car but the next thing is to determine if there is a specific head mark. Seems like some have a raised circle in the center and some have some sort of letter head marking. I want to check mine first.

John, the screw is pn 9417226 identified in the 63/64 AIM in that location. I can not find my research right now however I recall 65 used the same screw. (double check your 65AIM for part number)
The "high hat" was never used as an official part, rumor says it was simpler for production to insert so a bunch was acquired from the corvair line.
