Hello Gents, this has turned out to be quit the thread.... So my 67 that got a deduct at the same Wisconsin regional ... So what does a person do ?

One thing I would NOT do is alter or change the part until you get some unequivocal proof that the part is one way or the other ---

Not being negative here but there are just a ton of self appointed experts out there --- just about anything could and did happen on the production line at any given time --

After owning a totally original 66 big block coupe (second owner) for almost twenty years I learned to trust the car and NOT the experts!!!!!!!

I agree with you bill and Don... Some deducts I received were not warranted and we are at the discretion of the judges at these flight judging events

Well I put the old original one on and it looks better than the shiny repro one I had there
