what chapter(s) made a pitch for a Las Vegas National convention? I don't think it was So. CAL, and there is no Nevada Chapter (that I am aware of).

Wow, there could not be two towns so opposed in style. Savannah, GA. Southern laid back with beautiful antebellum homes! And then there is Las Vegas, NV. well you know!

Back at the end of the Ice Age, when Uncle Sam was arranging my travel schedules, we had a nice dinner at the Boar's Head
in Savannah. Building had been constructed with "ballast stones" carried in English ships coming over for cotton. Wonder if it still

Michael & Don,
Tom Barr, `90-`96 Team Leader, is working on a proposal for a Convention in Las Vegas in 2018. Nothing has been approved by the Board as yet. As to Savannah, it is my understanding that a proposal is in the works for a 2019 Convention there, but nothing formal has been submitted to the Board.
