62 Corvette heater hose ?

I know the heater hoses are 3/4" and 5/8" but what is the proper position of them.
Intake manifold to which position at heater?
Water pump to which position?

If you don't have your AIM, see bottom right illustration on page 325 in your Noland.

ps
now that i see your part numbers on the CF post, AIM says 132 is water pump to elbow and
989 thermostat to nipple.

Don, I have the AIM info but I can't find the size info based on the part numbers.
I have looked them up no sizes are indicated.

you cant tell from the size of the elbow fitting, and the size of the heater core nipple? I am a C2 guy, so not certain on your 62, but my 3/4 goes to water pump, and my 5/8 goes to intake manifold. Yours is likely the same.

Yes, the 5/8" goes to the intake manifold and the 3/4" to the waterpump. However, as Don mentions, the nipples on the heater core should also be of different size. The larger one takes the 3/4" hose and the smaller the 5/8" hose.
