I know that the soft top color is called out on a tank sticker, but it's not clear enough to read from the tank sticker on a '67 I own. The car is yellow with black standard interior. Would a black or white soft top be correct for this car? I'm pretty sure it came originally with a black soft top from conversations with prior owners. The soft top has been replaced with a black one at this point.

Re: Top Color for yellow '67
Interesting, I know Bill's car from post #5 is yellow/black with a white top. My yellow/white has a black top called out on the tank sticker. The sticker on this car is just too tattered to see anything about the top. Since it needs a new top, I suppose I can go either way.- Top

Re: Top Color for yellow '67
Tim,
You indicated you can't make out the tank sticker top info for your car. I looked at copies from some of my old tank stickers and noticed there is a tank sticker difference between the black and white top cars that might help you figure it out - if just a little info still remains.
On my yellow/black/black roadster it shows 8STD(space)TP under the Option No. column, and STD BLACK TOP under the description. On one of the white top cars, it shows 02C05BA in the Option No. column, and CONVERT TOP WHITE under the description.
So even if you can't clearly make out any numbers or letters for the top option, maybe you can look at the patterns of the numbers and letters for a possible match?
