Re: Lake Land Regional Meet
[QUOTE=Mark Edmondson (22468);766043]Forgive the dismissive remark. I actually believe partnering with an auction house would be an interesting experiment. It would add a new dimension to the event and maybe introduce NCRS to new folks.[/QUOTE
No problem with your remark at all, I just wanted to clarify. Introducing NCRS to new folks (especially those who are car people) is exactly what is needed.

The aircraft hangars are spacious, secure, clean, and out of the weather. Imagine being a judge working on your back on dirty asphalt, in the rain, or in grass. At Lakeland the swap area is the largest and roomiest ever. It is level, clean, well maintained ground with wide alleys and every vendor should be thankful for that. Public parking is also the best ever. Seriously, have you ever tried to find parking at Old Town on a Saturday when the weather was great? You end up out on the highway. Many of the hotels are a 5 minute drive and have restaurants within 100 feet of them. Old Town is nothing but an over priced tourist trap, I hope the January meet stays in Lakeland.
