The Moog brand ball joints that have been recommended numerous times for mid years- Are they U.S. manufactured? If they are, where? Or are they manufactured off shore such as China? And what about their other front suspension components? Thanks, Jack J.

Re: Ball joints
Jack, you'll have to read the box when you get them most are either made in Mexico or china. like most auto parts, out sourcing to foreign countries is normal for todays automotive parts, and being in the Auto trade, there is some good and some bad. Moog in my opinion is one of the better names still and I use a daily basis. Its also a no question's asked lifetime warrenty.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: Ball joints
Jack------
These days, one has to actually see the box for the part they're considering purchasing. Countries of origin can change. In other words and for example, a Moog suspension part purchased 5 years ago might have a different country of origin than the same part purchased today. The last Moog suspension parts I purchased were made in Canada but that was quite awhile ago and it might not be the same today.
Regardless of country of origin, Moog or AC Delco Professional are going to be your best bet as far as quality is concerned. Curiously, they're also the most expensive. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
