Probably but, the hose, on the car in question, looks pretty original. I'll tell ya another thing, I've seen some pretty late original 69s with that hose.

Reproductions will be no better than what you have, whether yours are original or later GM. I wouldn't touch your hoses at all, and would pass them for any judging event.

If your hoses are mostly original then how nice is the rest of the car?

Thanks, Patrick (and everyone else who has replied)!

Condition-wise, the car is about a 7 or 8 out of 10, and I am endeavoring to take it the rest of the way. It was repainted in the early 90s, and it really needs to be redone again at this point. The interior also needs some refreshing.

Originality-wise, the car is great. All of the components are numbers-matching with correct date codes with the exception of a few fairly common things like the fuel pump, water pump, and starter. I am working on getting correct versions of all those components right now. The only thing glaringly wrong with the car was that the smog system was missing, but I recently invested in a complete system from Bill Hodel, so that will soon be rectified!

            All------

I believe one of the two upper radiator hoses pictured here is the original radiator hose for my car. I don't know which one but I'm kind of thinking it's the lower one in the photo.

Thanks for posting those pics, Joe! The lower one in your photo matches what is on my car. (Mine has that same "stripe" running length-wise, although it is in a bit different location in relation to the part number text, so it's not visible in my photo.)

You wouldn't happen to have your original heater hoses or left PCV hose, would you? As the only hoses that are definitely not "as original" on my car, I would be very interested in hearing or seeing what they look like.

              Thanks again,
              Paul
