                Re: 67 judging manual

Can anyone tell me what drove the need for a new edition? Two years since the 5th Edition seems pretty quick, especially since there was an eight year gap between the 4th and 5th Edition.

I guess my real question is, do the changes justify spending another $56 (with shipping)?

Hey Rich... That would be wonderful to only charge for the revised pages to members...

I will miss the old version, but mainly because of the cover. I know the red car on the cover "fairly well"....

Yes Chris, I remember meeting you in Hampton.
You may have been as excited about the cover art as you were your Duntov Award!

With all the work that goes into a manual revision, I would think the proofreading and accuracy checks ought to keep a new edition from being required 2 to 3 years later.

Human errors can occur, but keep in mind an ever-evolving knowledge base can dictate the need for manual revisions, sooner than you may think, that ultimately benefits all owners and admirers. ARA
