67 BB Tank Sheet
35 years ago I bought a used 67 fuel tank at a swap meet in New York that had a significant portion of the original tank sheet still attached. The portion of the sheet that remained was that area where there was significant glue applied. I subsequently cut the tank with a saw to retain the sheet. I had forgotten about the sheet until I recently came across it in a box. It's a special car. A triple black roadster with 900 Tuxedo black paint, black leather, black soft top. Options include 427/390 HP, tinted windows, off-road exhaust, telescopic steering, speed warning, whitewall tires, radio, and 336 posi. All of the production date is present. However, only four digits of the order number are present. I'd like to try to hunt down the car, assuming it still survives, and reunite with the owner who would clearly like to have this document. As a first step can I send this to the NCRS document service without a VIN and validate it as well as gain more information? Any other thoughts?
