I'm getting different opinions about the fuse sizes that should be installed in my complete rewire. For a 1961 no power top, heater and radio car what are the correct fuse sizes top to bottom and what is the actual usage of each fuse?

Re: 1961 Fuse Sizes and Usage
It is also on the last page of the ST-12, Heater is a 10amp, Parking Brake alarm is a 10amp, Radio is a 7and 1/2amp, Instrument and clock are 3amp, Tail, Stop, License and courtesy lamp is a 15ampheadlight is a 15amp, hope that helps. You really should get both the ST-12 and owners manual if you are doing any work on these cars. Both should be available at the NCRS store;- Top

Re: 1961 Fuse Sizes and Usage
I actually have an original OWNERS GUIDE. According to the harness vendor there isn't supposed to be a fuse in the "SPOT ANT" location unless the car had a dealer installed option. Still trying to figure out if the lamps s/b 10A or 15A. There are a lot of opinions on this whole issue of fuses. I'm going to use my VOM once I get everything working to double check what sizes are needed.Attached Files- Top

Re: 1961 Fuse Sizes and Usage
I don't understand your confusion? What do you mean by s/b? if you mean stop light or brake light it clearly states 15. And I'm not sure who you are referring to by "lots of opinions" on fuse issues. I've rewired several cars and I don't see what confusion you mean. It's a pretty straight forward wiring setup with a few goofy things the General threw in.- Top
