My vehicle is not yet complete enough to be drivable or even started up. I have notice that my headlight operating diaphragm rubber link shields have depleted them self's to the point that they are falling apart, mine are only 2 years old ( they have been cycled periodically and not exposed to weather). Is this a normal situation requiring replacement every few years? Is there anything that will prolong their life(other than converting to electric operators) as it's a pain in the "you know what" to replace them? Thanks -- Rey S.
