I'm pointing out that the part number they have listed is incorrect. If you or anyone can show me where to find 16153993 l would be more than happy to shut up. If I were to judge my car, by the book, I would loose points through no fault of my own. As for its "only a few points" well a few points here and there all add up and I don't like loosing any points especially when the book is wrong.

        Ken,

JMO but you will drive yourself nuts chasing minor point deductions. In-any-case, if the part actually is original, then at least at Regional/National meets you are not going to loose originality points. At Regional/National events the National Team Leader is present and will have updates to errors & additions to the current JG. If you have a particular question about your part number, then just contact the NTL and ask.

I don't know the source of the xx993 part number. Perhaps it came off an original car used when the JG was under development. Perhaps it is a misprint. If you get a chance, be an Observer Judge on Chassis at a Regional or National - that will give you an opportunity to see the judging process in action with a NTL present.

This is pretty simple: if the car starts & drives, the it has the correct ECM/PCM as well as the correct memcal.
