GM says it did. However, by very late 1977 I suppose things could have changed. In any event, GM says the buzzer was GM #6262663. It's GM-discontinued but not too hard to find. I do not know where it was located on the car.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Key Buzzer
I checked it out and I was wondering is there any vendor who could repair it? I checked the control board out and saw no traces of burnt or carbon deposits. With Radio Shack going out of business I can not trace the components values (resisyors capacitor) etc Is there any part that would interchange with this from prior years?- Top

I finally dug this one out [not for sale]. This is what you're looking for but it's quite difficult to find. I do not know if these can be repaired.

Re: Key Buzzer
It is made in Canada. I should visit a couple of Chevy dealers in my area may be I can get lucky. Another avenue is to read value on each component and use a meter to ring out for continuity. If I had a schematic that would make troubleshooting quicker. It is funny that no one wants to repair these items because the later cars are loaded with boards that could be soldered and sucker out for repair. Another problem is with Radio Shack on its way out were do we find the components? The people in Canada probably sourced this out Thanks for your input- Top
