Pointers For Flight Judging My 1988 Anniversary

I have a 1988 35th Anniversary that I'm taking for FL Chapter Flight Judging next month.

Things that I know are wrong:
have Goodyear Eagles that are as close a match to the originals as I could find
have a new Delco battery that is as close a match to the original as I could find
don't have the baggie that the model car came in (but I have the car)
don't have the delivery cassette tape (but I have one from Elvis to use in the player)
don't have 2B1 Guide headlights (but still looking for these)
have Supsa brand rear hatch struts that are close to the originals (sending the originals out for rebuilding today)
a few minor items but I have the parts ordered to make them prettier

I have the original floor mats and they look fairly good. Paint looks good. New seats that are the correct color and have the sewn in logo (the old ones were beyond repair). The lower engine is dirty but I cleaned off the engine pad and it's numbers matching. After many hours of picky repair everything in the car seems to work right down to every light bulb.

SO - WHAT ARE THE SUGGESTIONS OTHER THAN CLEANING THE ENGINE (which I'll do somewhat once I get my '61 off the lift) ABOUT AREAS THAT I SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON. THAT IS, WHERE DO MOST OWNERS LOSE OF POINTS?

Operations. Each line item is 25 points, and it can take several lines of Int/Ext/Mech/Chassis to lose 25 points.
Be sure everything works as intended.

Then you guys are lucky, relatively speaking.
It still takes a lot of onesies and twosies to get to 20 points.

Make sure your fluid levels (coolant, washer, etc.) in those see-through reservoirs are at the proper marks.

Thanks so much for the time and effort of answer my thread.

I have all GM/Delco (air filter, serpentine belt, radiator hoses) in the car so I should be OK mostly on that. Poor quality pic is the oil filter that I believe is correct. As I learned the Regional last year operations was a killer for someone else - they look like the "cheapest" points one can buy.

Now removing the strap is interesting. I'll be sure to accomplish that.

John,I used to have a May 83 Corvette. One of the hardest parts to find for the car was an original 2B1 headlight bulb. If others don't believe me start looking. They are just not out there even though they were used on a ton of other vehicles.
Get ahold of me after the Spring Carlisle show. I may have a 2B1.
If you car takes a PF 25 then it should be a black one with the proper decal. Not all PF25 are created equal. The Canadian ones that were or are readily available are incorrect for your '88. Just as Perry said. Email me at johndegreg@aol.com for more info on the filter as I wrote an article on it, etc. John D
