    Taillight part no.

    Looking for GM part no. for 75-79 all red outbound tailight? Need one nos or used with no cracks (show quality). I will be darn if I can find anything but Trim repros. Any help much appreciated........Thanks

      GM #897193. Long-since GM-discontinued.

      Trim Parts reproductions are pretty good. Sometimes, they're better than the GM pieces.

          Thanks Joe.......I have the Trim repros but the stainless rings are incorrect and the judges make note accordingly. You would think nos would be available given the thousands produced but not the case.

                  Mark.......yeah eBay was the first place I looked. Found some back-up inboard nos lights but no brake lights. Used stuff is faded and cracked for the most part. Checked all over the internet. Tough part to find if you want to stay with OEM. I need only one since my other one is good so I would like to stay original rather than repro.

                      I assumed you were talking about the complete lamp ASSEMBLY. Are you actually looking for just the lens?

                          Joe........I am looking for the assembly. On the 75-79 there is no separate lens. The lens is fitted to the casing that the bulb pops in.

                              Yes, that's how it is. I just started to think that maybe you thought there was a separate lens available.
