    Google says it's for a 5.7 liter Merc-Cruiser.

This pan won't work on any pre-1980 Corvettes as it has a right side dipstick. It might work out well when installing a 1980+ small block in a C1 Corvette, though.

Joe I know it had a right side dipstick. But its has no dents or rust. So it could be used on a small block of some type.

          Thanks Bob

Yes, any 1980 or later small block with 2 piece rear seal.

Joe, thanks I wasn't sure if it used a one or two piece seal.

Checking further, it appears that I was incorrect about this being a 2 piece rear seal oil pan. It's for a 1 piece seal. This really surprises me since the part number looks like vintage about 1979 which is way before the first 1 piece seal small block existed.
