Inner Fender areas: factory correctness/orignal..... 1966-67 years

How do the front end fiberglass units, that you can buy today for mid years (specifically for the 66-67 years), compare to the original factory? Specifically wondering about the inner fender areas and the areas at the lip of the fender. Same question for rear quarter panels?

What variations of the fender lip areas occurred across the mid years (factory)?
How did these inside fender areas change moving into the 68-69 years?

Since the C3 used very different fenders I'd imagine appearance is different, although assembly process may be similar to earlier builds.
