I think he finally gave up trying to correct the 63-64 JG and dealing with carlton.........he didn't renew his membership.

Krughoff car is featured in volume 3-3 - 1978 of "Corvette The Sensuous American" published by Mike Antonick. Won "Best of Show" at '77 Bloomington Corvette Corral. There is a very detailed picture of FI unit with #511203U shown. Also shown is picture of trim tag and vin tag, but not real clear. According to the article detailing was done to chassis and engine, along with refinish of underside of hood and replacement of decals. Pictures show teak - tele, 42 amp alternator, thus TI, gold lines and k/o's, power brakes, both tops, AM/FM, CC group, under car exhaust.

Not a clear picture and I know very little about FI units or cars. Only recognized this car, as Krughoff also had low mileage 396 car at same time.

Re 1500 mile '65. I believe that car was on display couple years ago at Bloomington Hall of Fame. Owner was Ed Foss Roanoke Indiana. I had heard that Mecum had it for sale.
