For a Nov 63 car/64 C2, my voltage regulator is mounted on the radiator support (not an A/C car so not on the fiberglass inner fender). Two questions:
1. There is a wire which originates from the wiring harness with a loop end terminal which is ground and is currently attached to the VR base in a separate hole on the top with a separate screw (SEMS which I'm sure is not right). My Judging Guide which is not current says the ground would be under the top mounting screw. Is that still correct?
2. My three VR mounting screws are "E" indent head sheetmetal screws with a blount end and have a thread cutting groove. They certainly could have been replaced and wrong. What should these screws be?
