Is it possible for a late 67 with c60, not having the ac/heater harness that goes from the fuse box to behind the clock. My 67 doesn't have the harness or the special clock bracket to hold the additional 2 torpedo light bulb holders. Every where I read, I should have all. Trying to make my car as correct as I can. Thank you for all responses. John

Re: 67 with factory air
Last year I finished a resto on a second week of June 67 C60 car that had all the typical wiring changes and clock bracket. I suspect your car had AC was added. Can you post pictures of everything. Does your trim tag have a ECL code?- Top

Re: 67 with factory air
What engine and TRIM ECL?
Here is a post regarding a '67 C60 analysis that may help......

For 1967, it was discussed above that C60 was not specifically addressed in the ECL codes. There are other areas that can assist with clues if factory installed or not, in particular, the appearance and features of the Passenger side kick panel area.

Re: 67 with factory air
Hi Richard,
Thanks for the link to the expanded clues to that illustrate the factory bits that were included in a 1967 C60 assembly. When I looked over your posting of the AM page 317 that details the mounting of the firewall duct with the special mounting (C60 only) bracket, I became concerned because I was unable to recall seeing the bracket surface attached to the face of my firewall as illustrated in the manual. That illustration can be deceiving because my impression is that the bracket is surface mounted to the firewall and it is not. It is attached and concealed to the backside of the firewall and in not visible from the engine compartment side. Wonderful help. Now, I also think my C60 is original.- Top

Re: 67 with factory air
Hello, everyone. Thanks so much for all the responses. Leif, yes my car has the center vent, with the two ac controls on top, in the dash. Also have left vent pull under dash by the radio side panel, that activates the left vent grill. And also have the so called half vent grill on the passenger side, activated with the middle left chrome pull knob. The engine is a 427, 390. I'm goin to check those holes on the firewall. Also, Does the dealer order sheet have any merit or proof, that the car should have ac? Thanx guys!!! John- Top

Re: 67 with factory air
Ok. The 3 holes on the fire wall are covered, smeared with some sealer/bond, goop stuff. No stud seen or felt. I also forgot to mention, the cars bb radiator has the rubber strip on top, with 6 clips. And the horn is mounted on the passenger side forward wheel well. I'm going that the car is a c60 built car. But I'm always going to wonder, why my car did not have that special ac/heater harness or the clock mount that would except the 2 additional torpedoes. Weird. Maybe somebody forgot to add them. O well, Thanx everyone for helping me out!!! John- Top
