    Ken Sleeper

It is with heavy heart that we learned Ken Sleeper, the very often fill in National Team Leader for Brian Pearce, the 1973-82 National Team Leader as well as the Chairman of the Indiana Chapter, passed away last night. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed.

Ken will be greatly missed by the Indiana Chapter and by his many friends in the NCRS. Ken worked tirelessly on the Auburn Regional just this past April. It was a great meet and Ken and his wife Ginger deserve much of the credit.

It is our faith that tells us you are in a better place.

Rest in Peace. Ken was the Team Leader the first time I was an observer judge - helpful and considerate.

Wow, I am in shock and deeply saddened, I met Ken for the first time just last month at the Bend Regional. He flew in from Indy to be Team Leader on my '73. RIP Ken.

I remember telling Ken that I wanted to step down as editor of the newsletter this year, Ken said NO not until after our regional in April, then we can both step down! As he announced in our last newsletter he was stepping down as judging chairman, but would stay on as chapter chairman if we desired him to do so.. I know he did not want to go out like he did. He was a special person and so was Ginger.

My condolences to Ginger and family.

What saddening news. I've gotten to know Ken over the past many years at IN events, MI events and Regionals, and always enjoyed talking with him and interacting with him. He will definitely be missed.
