Trying to figure out which plastic bushing is correct.

The top right bushing (larger diameter, to accommodate the black rubber grommet for the throttle rod at the carburetor throttle lever) is correct, and the flange on the bushing goes on the same side of the rubber grommet as the spring end or cotter pin that retains the carburetor throttle rod to the lever, as shown in the Assembly Manual.- Top

The wide bushing was sold in the 70's as a replacement for the earlier narrow base bushing. The narrow original bushing was used on both ends of the accelerator rod for 63-67. Don't know about later C-3's.

That's what I thought, Joe. Thanks for clarifying. The wider rimmed bushing seems to make more sense, as John described...but, I had seemed to remember that the narrow base one was correct.Leif
