    C1 Replacement Leaf Spring

I have a 61 which is sagging in the rear. I prefer not have the spring re-arched. I am wondering if any has found reproduction leaf spring which has the grooves in the face of the spring similar to the oem? I am also concerned that the spring has the correct arch to maintain the factory ride height. Any leads would be appreciated.
    Thanks

If you want the original look, re=arching is the only option. No one reproduces grooved springs.

Yes - you either have to rearch yours or find originals (Corvettes at Carlisle is next month) or get repros. Eaton Detroit springs makes good repros -- but no grooves.

Not all original springs are candidates for rearching depending on condition though...

What concerns do you have with re-arching your leaf springs? I had the springs re-arched on my 62 way back in the 70s and shops that did this kind of work were easy to find and had the correct specifications to do the job correctly. Have had no regrets and the springs have held up fine.
