Have you restored your C2 wing window

All I need to know is how to remove the outer stainless steel molding. The inner one slid right off but the outer one hangs up and will not slide off. What am I doing wrong. And yes the wing window is out of the car.

I believe there is a small screw in the felt way up at the top - hard to see -'may have to Perone around a bit. If that doesn't do it I will post a few archive articles I have tomorrow.

If you have an article that tells how to remove Please post. The SS strip on the inside slid right off but the outside strip (molding) has lips on it that will not let me slid off. thanks

        Chester,
I routinely copy and save articled on various C2 repairs & "how-to"; I have several on C2 window and door repairs. I also have a few word documents that contain info I copied from various websites on the same subject. I am attaching them all for your convenience - I hope they help. For the record, I am not the original author of any of the info attached - the credit goes to others.

By the way - if you have gone through the trouble of removing your vent window I trust that you are considering a rebuild of your vent window regulators - if they are the least bit sloppy in their operation - easy fix and kits are available.
