1963 shp Dipstick (prior to Jan 1963)

Hi Guys, hope y'all are having a great weekend.
I've got a black painted handle p/n 3739830 stick. Cup and felt washer are gone.
Does anyone know where I can get these (other than buying a repro and taking it off of there)???
Is the handle painted 'gloss' black?

What do you mean, "cup"? Is it 9 9/16" to "full" and 20 21/64" to "add"?

Hi Loren,
What I meant was the stop washer (I called it a cup because it isn't a flat washer) and the felt washer that fits up under it.
Also, those are the measurements I have to where the stop washer would be. 19 9/16 to Full & 20 5/16 to Add. The handle is about 2 1/2" to the stop washer also.

Irby, You said it right. The dipstick should be black. Prior to Jan 3, 1963 the dipstick would be black. As far as finding the parts you need good luck. Probably have to do the repro route. John

Thanks John. Guess I'll grab one of the repros on eBay and take the washer and felt off of it. Is there a good place to get the tiny rivets...maybe Dr. Rebuild? Irby
